February 14th, in fact. Making it... oh, just short of 2 months since I've updated this. And the only reason I'm doing it now is because it's 12:45 in the morning, and Conan's on a commercial.
Close Up was the SHIT! I loved it, and was pissed when we had to leave. I am actually thinking about working as a Program Instructor for them, because I was so impressed by the program. It was, hands down, well worth the cost. It was the best week-long experience of my life. And no, Close Up does not pay me $50 every time I promote them. (shifty eyes and backs up down an alley, drumming fingers against themselves mysteriously and chuckling manically, while several henchmen appear from the shadows and walk backwards alongside me)

Anyways, where was I?
Brainstormers and Mock Trial are going well. I'm digging the whole lawyer thing. I'm slowly getting better at it, and I suppose eventually I'll be a lot better. (WOAH!!! I was talking about Mock Trial, and Conan just made a Mock Trial joke. Cue Twilight Zone music. Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo). But yes, things are looking up, and hopefully we'll win regionals this year, because I refuse to lose to Chataqua county by 1 point again (and no, I don't give a flying shit how you effing spell that county's name. They're stupid, and don't matter at all. Assholes).
Also... 3 DAYS TIL THE GREAT TURTLE MIGRATION!!! I always look forward to this wonderful event. 11 great reptiles swimming across a large stretch of ocean, battling weather, currents, other turtles, and bears as the attempt to return to their home, the Galapagos. Then, once landing on the beaches, they have to get on bikes and race 15 miles, and then run 10. And they have to shit in their shells. Oh, and while they're running, bears are chasing them. There's nothing scarier than a wet bear. We'll train these turtles, and then we'll have Tortoise and the Hare: Part Deux, and we'll see who wins that race. Oh, hell yeah.
Oh, and by the way, the Sox are kicking ass, and Matsuzaka won his Major League debut 14-3 vs Seattle. He's amazing. However, I'm not going to jinx or curse our chances by saying anything. In fact, I'm not even going to think about it. I'll mentally hint at the idea of debating whether or not to mention the idea of the Yankees and beating them, especially in the month of the year named after the Roman emperor Octavius. I think you all know exactly what I'm talking about.
Ok, it's 1 in the morning, and my lack of a life over Spring Break is slowly dawning upon my sorry, lonely head. I suppose I'll try and update this more often. Yeah, right. That's bullshit. How many times has that been said? It's probably in the Top 5, along with:
-I'll lose that 20 pounds
-I'll listen to you when you're talking
-I won't swear
and
-Wow, I really should read War and Peace
Screw this, I'm going to bed. And if I go two weeks without updating, I don't want to hear any bitching. You know who you are....
