My grandmother is alot like that. She is obsessivly doing things with her hands, Cleaning, Dishes, Picking up invisable lint from the floor. Thats why i am bringing these blocks out with me to her house this christmas. its something simple we can do together and it keeps her busy. Might be an idea for you too...
