IceLand A-Go-Go!
Hell Yes! So I've been listening to my Sigur Ros today. I realize each time I listen to it that I like it more and more.
For all of you out there who don't know much about Sigur Ros, here's their specs. They are an odd band and they are from Iceland. Done.
The album I got of theirs is simply Untitled. All the tracks don't have a title as well. To make things even stranger, the singer doesn't use real words on this album. Rather, he uses a strange gibberish.
I bet you're thinking to yourself "Wow Andy, you've found the shittest, most pretenious band ever!" And you know what, I would probably think the same thing if I was in your shoes. I mean come on, they are from IceLand! They are a half step away from Bjork for fuck's sake!
But truthfully, they are a good listen. If you are looking for an album to "party" to or make sweet love to your baby girl to, I wouldn't recommend these gentlemen. However, if you are in the mood for a good, relaxing, creepy stare at a wall to really interesting music, pick up this album...
