Y'know, it'd be totally awesome if certain members of the S/J List would stop reminding me that they have no sense of humour whatsoever and that they wouldn't know irony if they woke up next to it after a long night of drinking and various other adult activities.
...and then I remember that this is fandom I'm complaining about.
Sometimes I feel isolated and then I see things like my bot-created wiki profile and all the weird shit you kids added to my bio and I feel loved. I truly do.
My first really big, all-encompassing sorta adult experience of fandom was Star Trek: The Next Generation. The series came out when I was seven years old and before that, I remember watching syndicated reruns of the original series
