Gorramit, have I missed something? Something wonderful that I'll be thinking about all day and then have to go out and by the original theatrical version of the trilogy that conveniently came out today?
Great five thing by the way. Very nice Daniel/Share.
Er...I seem to recall them being leather? Because Han is so the sort of person who would wear leather pants? (looks for a picture to prove this)Damn. They're all black and white and from a distance.
I love these both, but the first one especially. It was nice how you made Daniel/Janet possible without invalidating or cheapening what Daniel and Sha're had.
Well, I like Janet. And she really is the polar opposite of Sha're in a seriously scary number of ways. And I think Daniel loved them both deeply and it's really okay that he loved them both deeply in different ways.
Same way I think it's okay that Daniel's possibly moved on to love Vala in some ways and that Jack and Sam both had relationships before they got together. How you felt before doesn't neccessarily have a great deal of bearing on how you feel now, but it doesn't neccessarily change that previous feeling either.
Oh, I also adore Janet. :) And I like that she was different from Sha're, and that he was drawn to her for different reasons.
Daniel/Vala is something very possible, and I'm more than okay with that for him as well. I've never seen his feelings for Sha're or Janet as any less than they were. He's just found ways to cope with their being gone.
The one common thread I've seen from all three women is a vast reserve of strength and resolve. I can't see him with anyone who didn't have that.
S...how did I not have you friended before now? Rectifying that. :)

I also kind of see it as an indication of how Daniel matured. Before, he was someone who was young and kind of naive and you could really see him with someone who's just very, very sweet like Sha're. But Janet and Vala have a slightly earthier edge to them and it kind of fits more grown-up and cynical Daniel.
And I'm not really expressing this very well at all, am I?
Daniel/Vala is something very possible, and I'm more than okay with that for him as well.
It's funny. Before Momento Mori, I was a fan of Daniel and Vala having a brief relationship and parting as friends. Now, I can honestly see how they could be together for the long haul. There was this tenderness that really came out between them in that episode that you only saw brief glimpses of before.
