I could hear the rain last night while working. It has to rain pretty hard to hear it. I work in a callcenter with extremely high ceilings and all kinds of random noises.
I love this weather...I always have. It is cold and wet and gloomy, yet it is surprisingly uplifting. This is the first time rain has felt comforting in a long time. Perhaps because I have been fairly down lately, or just because everything about it is right. It feels good when outside, it smells good and something about the grey skies scattered with clouds is oddly reassuring.
I wish I could just curl up with my book and listen to it rain on and off all day. But alas, I can't. Day off = errands and house work. No matter, I still like it and will enjoy going outside in it.
