(no subject)
I went to file my unemployment insurance claim today. I never got the ROE from my Ontario employment, though. All I got was the cheque stubs. But I still ended up needing the ROE(Record Of Employment). So I've been trying to reach the Payroll Manager periodically. Still haven't been able to. Since it wasn't always a fixed salary, they also need my 14 best weeks over the past year. I'll also have to try to get that information from payroll, as well. I never thought I woukld need it, when I left that job. *sighs* It's never easy.
After I got home, mom told me that a gentleman from a call center I had applied to for work tried to get a hold of me. When I called him back, he said he wanted to arrange for a face to face interview, and wanted to know if I'd be good to go for this Friday. I told him that that would be fine. He wasn't sure about the exact time or place, but that he would get back to me with that information. I await with baited breath! If I can get a job there, I'll have to put my plans to go for Truck Driver on hold!
Only thing is: The call center is located in a city in the southern half of New-Brunswick. I have a brother who lives and works there. I can at least count on a place to stay temporarily until I can find my own place. Or at worst, I can always rent out a room at his place!
