Post-Superbowl Grey's Anatomy
The opening sequence cracked me up. Naked Izzie, Meredith and Christina in the shower as George's fantasy? SO to hook the jock-watchers to keep tuning in. Reminded me of the post-Superbowl Alias episode when the opening shot was of Jennifer Garner in black lingerie to AC/DC's "Back in Black."
Christina Ricci was an excellent guest star. Good to see she's no longer going for that orange-bronzer skin tone anymore. She's back to her regular pale self. And rocking a scene. I felt so bad for her character, especially after that dick anasthesiologist abandoned her.
Loved Izzie deciding to be a "doer" and going and doing Alex, like she's been wanting to. Especially her line to him: "Alex, I haven't had sex in 8 months and 12 days, I'm horny, half-naked and I'm saying 'yes.' Now are you going to continue to talk metaphors or are you literally going to TAKE OFF YOUR PANTS!"
Addison was great, Bailey was great-- hell, everyone was great. I even got a modicum of respect back for McDreamy for not letting the Early Edition guy eject him from the OR while Mr. Dr. Bailey's brain was opened up on the table. And Christina too, for literally kicking Meredith out of bed in the morning and not letting Burke kick her out of the OR at the end.
