The hunt was SO on
I had such a fun easter. i woke up in the morning to my easter basket being filled with tons of chocolate, jelly beans, milky ways, snickers, and pringles, and next to it was a 12-pack of coke...nice :-) . Then, I found out my mom had made an easter egg hunt for me & my sister, FORTUNATELY my sister got in a really bitchy mood, so my mom didn't let her do the hunt, lol, so it was just me taking my leisurely time finding them all. (but they were REALLY hard to find!). All in all, I got tons more candy, LOTS of money ($23.41 in dollars and change combined), and I got some special IOU notes from my mom, 2 were for DVD rentals, and 1 was for an oil change which i desperately need! It was nice to have a hunt when it was nice and warm outside.
Then I went to my Grandpa's house for dinner and things. Dinner was good, we had turkey & ham with tons of trimmings, and then my SPECIAL favorite, Jell-o eggs. mmmm. Then we had another hunt, but it was such a twisted method, there were bags of candy hidden REALLY good, and there were names on them, each grandkid had 2 bags, and so if you found someone else's bag, you couldn't tell them, and if you were the first to find both your bags, you got a special prize. There was also a special prize that was said to be hidden EXTRA good. Well I didn't find both of the bags first, but I DID find the special prize, it was nastilly hidden at the bottom of a pond filled with algae, but I got it, and I won $5. Then we played croquet, and I did really well. I came from behind and BARELY won, so then I was poisonous, and I went back and killed everyone else in one turn, I felt so badass and cool.
That's about all, now it's on to Spring Break finally, and I'm very excited for the time off. Hopefully I can get to hang out with Brynn, Lenita, & Kim at some point, I haven't hung out with them in a long time, so hopefully they aren't all busy this break. Let's hope not. Time for more candy.
