does it warrant attention?

so. I've been noticing today that I'm having a harder time spelling things (while typing) than I normally do. it's not just that my fingers are getting 'tongue-tied,' it's also that I'll spell things pseudo-phonetically, rather than how I know they're spelled. 'youser' for 'user' for instance.

I think that it has something to do with attention.

usually my attention (when typing) is on spelling and sentence structure, etc. but, today is the first day where I don't have band aids protecting the scars on my right palm and pinky. (I didn't write about it because I was having a serious problem with typing at the time, but I got some nasty cuts on thursday night - sophie's back claws. yeah. ouch. so much for not getting hurt that day.) since I'm now attempting to type at a relatively normal speed, my mind is on that instead.

it's interesting how attention changes the focus and messes things up that are normally taken for granted.

yes, this another installment of karin's deep thoughts. (aka: "duh, karin.")

injuries, typing, sophie
