Hehe, i relate with the expression deal. I don't scowl anymore (used to maybe), but it's probably not a very inviting expression that I'm wearing.

I used to be scared to ride the bus by myself. it was kind of funny, actually. back when I was a freshman in college. let's just say that I grew up really sheltered.

but 5 years of riding the bus everywhere and 1 year out in massachusetts by myself hardened me, I suppose. not that amherst is really all that scary, but still.
