And so, after a week of much con recovery and sleeping (grrrr!) and a fragmented weekend, I have finally, finally, oh praise all that's holy, I have finally completed Do No Harm chapter 9.
So the count is:

In other news, I seem to have fixed my troublesome right-elbowed tendonitis by going tenpin bowling.
Yes. That's right. I spent two hours yesterday throwing a 7 then an 8 lb bowling ball around and miraculously woke this morning to find my elbow completely painfree and working perfectly for the first time since January. As a bonus, I won the second game. Tee hee! Haven't been bowling for over 15 years, but I managed to pip Julie and Annette.
Not that I'm gloating or competitive, you understand.
Yeah. Right.
Today I helped a friend unpack her stuff in her brand new townhouse. It was fun. I got lots of exercise because it's 3 storeys with many stairs.
And, in and around all that stuff, I finished chapter 9, which has been hanging over my head all week. I also continued my guest writer stint at Writers Dock (
http://www.writersdock.org). It's been enormous fun talking books and answering questions. Go check out the forum!
And now it's the second week of October. Yikes! Now watch me go completely insane attempting to complete the first draft of the manuscript in the next 2 weeks. I can do it. I know I can. But what I'll look like at the end, well, let's just say I'm glad this blog isn't interactive, eh?
Stay well out there, all you lovely folk in LJ land, as I wrestle this sucker to The End.
