Belinda's Party

On Wednesday night. I went to Kristi's Mom's 50th Birthday Party, AKA " Bel's Fifty and Fabulous." She threw herself a cocktail party in her backyard.
First off, there is no such thing as a tame Belinda party. She is crazy and her friends are just like her. Generally, I am very shy when meeting new people. You can't be shy at a Belinda party. It's like being thrown in a shark tank. You just get over it really fast and adjust.
I spent a majority of the evening talking to "The Bitches." These are a group of women that Belinda vacations with every year. They had tee-shirts made that say, "Bitch 1", "Bitch 2", "Bitch 3" and "Bitch 5." It attracts a lot of attention, although I don't think that attracting attention could ever be an issue.
The party had about forty women, ten dogs, loads of alcohol and one man. The guy was the chef and he was under strict order to stay in the kitchen! I had Belinda's newest puppy on my lap the entire night. About ten of the people from the party were heading to Texas the next day to celebrate Belinda's birthday at a ranch. Kristi is kind of quiet like me, so I can't wait to hear her stories when she gets back. I am hoping to see her tomorrow or Tuesday. If I don't see her then, I might not see her until next spring, when I am planning on going to Washington for her Vet School graduation.
