OMG! Its days like this that I remember why I moved to California! Its minus 20C here and windy with a huge snowstorm on its way. Booked a flight for Canada today - going to hoist a few Molson's and celebrate Canada Day (July 1st) with my family and get in touch with my Canuck roots. In honor of Canada Day - here is one of my fav video's called "Joe Canadian". Enjoy.

Went to see the Tragically Hip at the Fillmore last night - it was so great to get a dose of head-banging Canadian rock. There was a sea of maple leafs and Molson logos... it all made me a little homesick.

My last evening in Toronto didn't go off as planned. I was driving on the 401 Hwy towards the airport and a delivery truck side-swiped my rental car and pretty much took out the two drivers-side doors. I've been the adult supervision his week with my 2 nephews... hanging with a 5 yr old and 7 yr old boys can be exhausting but fun! Shopped a bit, had coffee with an old friend, got to have G&T's with my three aunties, and was able to really take in the feeling of being back home for awhile.
