Malaysian thanksgiving

Thank you *Tuan,
For all these little things in life--Health, family, stable job,
A dream-house on an imaginary
Plot of land, and a redeeming conscience.

Given of your bounty,
These I accept with open arms and mind,
Mindful that as I did not know
When they would come, I may not
Choose the hour when they should go.
