My son got married yesterday, to a lovely woman whom we adore! We love having a second daughter, and our daughter loves having a sister. The wedding was outdoors, and very tiny, but the reception tonight is larger and will have dancing. We just got back from Arizona this evening. We're tired but happy. Any trip without disasters is a good trip. I love our family reunion vacations. We used to do them every year. Today was my own personal Mother's Day. We celebrated a week after the rest of the US because last Sunday my daughter wasn't home from college yet, This worked well for all concerned as it freed my son to spend last Sunday with his fiancée and her mother. My grandmother was born sometime around 1884. When she was a small child, her family crossed the plains in a covered wagon to settle in North Dakota.
