25 random things about me
I got tagged in note on Facebook....so here it is!
1. I am way more nonconformist than I appear.
2. I have possibly the oldest cat in the world (20 in march!), but I don't know what I will do with myself when she is gone.
3. A lot of things are changing in my life (well, around my life would be more accurate) and I'm not sure what the future will hold.
4. I love starchy veggies, but must force myself to eat the not-so-fun nonstarchy ones.
5. I like drinking alcohol (not beer, but I can stomach it) but I don't drink at home with my meals or at night for silent fear that I appear to be a wino...or maybe fear of the empty calories
6. I can cook, but I choose not to. it's not fun cooking for one. I do enjoy baking, but won't do it out of fear of the many sweet treats hanging around.
7. I am way too lax with money. I don't spend everything I make, but I'm way too used to buying things without having to think about where the money is going to come from. I also don't hound people about the money they owe me. A knee-breaker I'm not.
8. I wish I was closer to my sister
9. I wish I was closer to a lot of people. I wish I were better at staying in touch with people.
10. I hate talking on the phone; there are way too many awkward silences. I always text rather than talk when I can.
11. I have managed to go years without a date, but not without getting *cough* involved *cough*. And every time I have it's blown up in my face.
12. I love the city (just about any city) more than any place in the world. I would like to go move to one somewhere, but probably never will get the nerve to do so. But I know that I will never live in the sticks!
13. I don't understand everyone's obsession with the beach. It's hot and you get sunburned, the ocean has lots of creepy things in it, and it's too hard to read or play on the internet there.
14. Sometimes I think I don't know what love is.
15. I am content to go an entire day never talking to another human being on some days.
16. I HATE bugs. The kind of hate that gives you nightmares and freaking yourself out over feeling imaginary bugs crawling on you. 17. There are many days that I wish I was excellent at my job, instead of just okay. But I give myself props for trying, which is more than some people do.
18. Sometimes I spend more time reading Cosmo than I do Newsweek. And I love those stupid gossip sites like Perez, TMZ, and Awful Truth
19. My hands are always cold.
20. I have an obsession with shoes, particularly heels. The sad thing is, most of them are black or brown.I'm pretty sure I will never be stylish.
21. I LOATHE reality tv in all forms. I have never watched American Idol, and would love to say that I never di (if that craptastic show ever goes off the air!)
22. I can be awkward in social situations with new people. I either talk too much, or not enough.
23. I find it easier to communicate emotions through music selections than words.
24. I secretly would love to be a rock star, complete with great guitar skills. (not a pop star - gag!)
25. My goal is to one day own a new pair of Manolos.
