Sorry I haven't been around LJ much, you guys. But it's summertime. Rainy season is over. More stuff to do when the sun comes out. Important things like...um, I dunno...going outside. Nothing like sitting out on the porch watching my kid play and then sitting on the porch again after dinner when a couple of friends come over, drinking our beer,

I know some people who use LJ to solely practice their writing. *shrugs* Don't think there are too many of those.

And goddamn right the Internet is a distraction. If it wasn't here, I'd spend half my day staring at the ceiling tiles, trying not to go insane from boredom.

You'll never believe this: One of the people who holds to the "LJ is a learning tool" is none other than ddstory. She tried to use that to get me to go back to t_p by saying she might learn something from me.

But when I asked her if she'd learned anything from me in the past, she ducked the question lol.

And really, everything I've ever said there was pretty much blatantly obvious.

Hell, the mods can't even seem to figure out the difference between a troll and a flamewarrior. The two have similar tactics but very different motivations...which they also can't seem to figure out.

I took a look at t_p recently. It looks kind of sterile and stuffy compared to the way it used to be. I'm guessing too many people from sf_drama joined and fagged the place up.
