Hey guys (and by "guys" I mean "all two of you that read my lj")
I was thinking today about the upcoming November elections and how flipping difficult it is to get real information about the candidates.
If I were to start a new blog for compiling things like voting records and spending records, maybe a list of major campaign contributors (ie, what industries will get away with murder if the candidate is elected), would you or anyone you know be interested in reading it? I'd be as impartial as possible. I just think it's a shame that incumbents always win, even when they're bad politicians. It's just name recognition and the voters' lack of information about what they've actually done in office.
I'd even be willing to look into things like candidates for judicial positions. Even if only a dozen or so of us read it - at least that's 12 informed voters, right?
