Frakking school.

I thought I had my schedule for next semester set but it's all frakked up now because of...well, we'll just say stupidity of many people and leave it at that.  Ahem.  So anyway, in the last few hours I realized that I really don't enjoy graphic design much in a classroom setting (though I enjoy making graphics for fun) so I think I'm nixing that as a career move.  But I can't take photography and painting both next semester, because they stupidly meet at the same time, and I like painting more.  So the photography will have to wait a semester.

I need to take another course next semester, and because of multiple factors it's pretty much going to have to be an elective that doesn't fulfill any requirements except overall credit hours.

So I've narrowed it down to Fiction Writing or Theatre Makeup.  I'm honestly torn.

Fiction Writing- I like writing, particularly fiction.  I think I'm decent at it, and learning to be better would be good, as I still kind of hope to write a novel some day (even if it's only for myself).  But I'm kind of worried I'll have the same problem I had with graphic design, where I loved doing it for fun, but in a classroom setting I just get drained.  It could also turn out to be an excellent challenge for myself.

Theater Makeup- OK, OK, not the most relevant topic.  But it'd be a hell of a lot of fun, and in the same semester where I'll be taking math (hopefully) fun would be good.  Plus, I really enjoy portrait photography, so learning how to do both simple and completely out there makeup could have applications to my major.  And, I did theater makeup in high school, so there's a nostalgia factor.

Anyone have a vote?
