(no subject)
1. I had never heard Vala growl or hiss. Until I picked her up after she got spayed. Heh. I wonder why? Actually, she was hissing at the....nurse? Are they called nurses in a vet's office? Anyway, yeah, she was fine once I actually grabbed her. She's very sleepy, and not particularly interested in speaking to me. But that's pretty usual. You know, it's weird. I didn't expect there to be a visual change (aside from the stitches, obviously). But she suddenly got very very skinny right in front of her back haunches. It makes her look malnutritioned. Hopefully she'll plump up again when she's up to eating.
2. Oh Supernatural. You gave me a mostly entertaining episode last week, and then this week it's right back to bad guys with cages full of his female murder victims/slaves/vampire recruits. Of course. Thanks.
3. Kind of random since she was kicked off weeks ago, but...I've been sporadically watching Project Runway, and Ivy is such a horrible person. It's made me wonder...is there a good replacement word for bitch? I mostly try not to use it (although I will use HBIC and fierce bitch sometimes, basically I try not to use it as a negative). But I was trying to come up with a quick, succinct description of her, and bitch, with the worst possible connotations, is the only thing that comes to mind. But surely there's got to be another, similar word that can be substituted, right?
4. I just remembered that I have a challenge fic due beginning of Nov. That I haven't started writing. Or even plotting. Why do I keep signing up for these when I know that I haven't been able to write anything for over a year?
