1. I went in for a donut this morning, and grabbed an apple at the last second! I'm so proud of myself! OK, I still got the frappuccino, but the small bottles aren't any worse than a bottle of pop. Besides, baby steps. I broke the cycle. That's what matters. Now maybe I'll finally find time to get back to the gym soon. I'm paying for it, after all.
2. I'm having meta thoughts that I want to type up at some point, but not right now because I have to a) finish my paper that I didn't finish last night, and b) put together a bunch of letters for work that have to go out today...but I digress. Question to pose to y'all. How do you react when you find something (show, movie, book, etc) where there's at least one thing about it that you really love (character, overall concept, etc) but the execution leaves something (or a lot) to be desired? How bad does it have to be before the things you like aren't enough anymore? This is going somewhere, I promise, but I have to go write other, less fun things now.

3. There are some HQ spoilery BTS pics of River
over yonder. With bonus Mark Sheppard! I'm seriously never going to survive another 6 months. (Yes, I know there's a Christmas special to look forward to. But it doesn't have River *pouts*)
