Bad timing
I called them mid day to see if they'd gotten the results yet, and they hadn't, but she said she'd call me before end of day no matter what. Around 4:58 I called them back but they'd already switched on their answering service. Then about half an hour later my phone finally decides to inform me that she called at the same time I called her, and left me a message. They have my results. It's her policy to only deliver news, good or bad, in "person" (meaning not a voicemail). So yeah, if I hadn't called them then I would have gotten the call and I'd know. But now I have to wait until morning. Damn it.
