I keep forgetting to make titles
1. Vid rec! ivanolix linked to this Daniel/Vala vid, and it's pretty much awesome. I now suddenly love that song a lot more. Seriously, Vala, I love you. I think I'm going to have to do a total season 10 rewatch just so I can find all the hilarious moments I need to gif.
2. Speaking of Vala, the other one is both adorable and crazy making. Don't get me wrong, I love her, and I don't regret getting her at all. I knew this was part of the bargain. I just really hope she mellows a bit with age. She knocked my full length mirror over last night. It didn't break, but I walked out and thought she was under it and I about started sobbing. Turned out it was just a shoe, she was fine. I've laid it on its side for now until I can get a locking hanger, and she's very intrigued with her reflection.
So she's doing this thing where she likes to jump up on my bed around 4:30 in the morning. At first she always wanted to play, but now she seems to get that I don't so she just lays down and cuddles. It still wakes me up, but at least I can usually go back to sleep. But then this morning she stretches out down my front, puts a paw up on my mouth, pushes at it a bit, puts the other paw up on my mouth, and starts kneading. No claws, so it didn't hurt, but it was just so random. Adorable, but random, and not the best timing.
3. Stargate: Atlantis season 4 finale- First, I know this happened before the actual finale, but I'm so glad to have Carson back! Even if he's not going to be around a whole lot, just knowing he's out there is good enough for me. As for the finale itself, not the most jaw dropping or anything, but I do enjoy getting to see my favorite characters make those heroic sacrifices without actually having to lose them. Samantha Carter, you are awesome.
Oh, and the episode where Teal'c and Ronan beat each other up and then save the day? Muscle overload, man.
