But not in San Francisco.
5.8 down near Orange County. I was on the phone with an admin in the Newport Beach office and she said "We're having an earthquake, gotta go," which as excuses for not talking to someone go, is really good.
She came back in a few minutes and said everyone was ok, but he buildiing was still rolling because it's on rollers. Whatever that means.
Since
hllangel and
kijikun were following up Comic Com with a Disneyland excursion, I gave them a call. They're fine. They definitely felt it. Rides are all shut down and apparently people are stuck in boats, presumably in the tunnels, which I'm thinking would freak me out pretty badly.
Any other Southern California folks out there? Did you feel the earth move?

Karaoke was mellow on Sunday. David O was in full leather following the
Up Your Alley street fair, a leather community festival for those folks for whom
The Folsom Street Fair is too namby-pamby, mainstream etc.
I mostly hung out with Peggy and some of her pretty, pretty boy friends. We talked food, excercise and how much I appreciated her letting me cry on her shoulder two weeks ago. Sebastian wasn't there. I need to find out why.
Song list-
Why-Showaddywaddy
Why Does It Always Rain On Me-Travis
Could I Leave You-Follies (My BIG Diva number)
Rosalita-Bruce Springsteen. Not as big a crowd as I usually like for that one, but I kicked ass anyway.
