Felt the need for a slight revamp.

It's been a crazy few months. In May, there was the Covid exposure scare that went nowhere. In June, there was the laryngitus that knocked me out for a week, but still wasn't Covid. In July, I did get the most mild and yet annoying case of Covid imaginable and to wrap it up, in August I had an infected tooth pulled and looked like the Elephant Man for a week. Sunday, I got whammied by one of my bouts of Vertigo and had to go home sick because I couldn't stand up and I looked like a staggering drunk.

The good news was tons of unused sick time from almost never getting sick for 8 years and working for a company that gives us great health insurance including all the HSA money I've been socking away all this time.

The bad news was incredible guilt for needing to take time off in a situation where are so badly under-staffed that some days we've had to close early, causing a huge amound of disatisfaction among some very upscale and entitled clientele.

But life is good. As of yesterday, I'm able to state that I have 8 consecutive years of not binging or lying about food.

I've got live yoga and karaoke back, and even a few live 12-Step meetins, although those are mostly still on Zoom. To be honest, I am seriously over having to do almost anything on Zoom, although I'm grateful it was there as a way to approximate the things I missed and was attached to that I "lost" to the pandemic. I thought Laughing Lotus was a goner, but the Universe found a way and there are now live classes at a location about a mile from me that I can get to in 20 minutes on foot.

Oh, did I mention the lumpy fat cyst on my elbow?
