Ode to the letter "G"

Raylan Givens -- Justified (TV series)
The long, lean presence of Timothy Olyphant brings US Marshall Raylan Givens to smoldering, sexy life. He is, at the same time, a polite gentleman who can kick ass, occasionally have it handed back to him, and still pursue justice with quiet persistance and a tip of his cowboy hat to the good people who cross his path.

Gemma Teller-Morrow -- Sons ofAnarchy (TV series)
SoA has been described as "Hamlet on Harleys", but Gemma is the one who really sneaks and schemes behind the scenes. She's tart and ruthless, sly and protective of her extended family, and even when she's down, she's still a fighter. I never cared for Katey Segal before I started watching this; now I think she's brilliant.

Artemis Gordon -- Wild, Wild West (TV series ( ... )

Oh Artie! Hubby and I are in the process of watching Columbo from the beginning. I'm really looking forward to Ross Martin's episode. (So far we've had Gene Barry, Lee Grant, Jack Cassidy (killing Martin Milner, by the way) and Robert Culp.

I hear you! The Adam-12/Dragnet double feature has had all kinds of people pop up, like a young Dick Clark, Mickey Dolenz from the Monkees, Joann Worley (Laugh-In), Frank Sinatra Jr---and today, everybody from Emergency popped up on Adam-12. Oh, the nostalgia!

Of course, as soon as I posted my list, I thought of a couple more "G"s: The two colorful Jakes: Jake Green (Skeet Ulrich) from the series Jericho, and Jake Gray (Jensen Ackles) from the movie DeVour. Jake green is a badass with a few missing years that left him with some questionable skill sets, and Jake Gray is Jensen Ackles honing his talent for Epic!Man!Pain! albeit in a somewhat confuzzling B horror movie....

It's fun watching this stuff now, with a much better knowledge who everybody was(or would go on to be).
