I love '39 - A Night at the Opera is a close contender for my favourite Queen album of all time and 39 is one of my favourite songs off it. Nice to see it given a mention.

Funny thing is, I didn't 'discover' the album until the 80s and it was thanks to a Queen loving bf that I did! It was a terribly un-alt thing to be loving but I didn't care.

Dude, I didn't have my Led Zeppelin phase until the mid-80's and that was only because a movie theater in my town was doing a Midnight Movies thing with all the classic rock moves. So in one two month period, I first saw "The Wall," "Song Remains The Same," "Gimme Shelter, "Kids Are All Right" etc. "Song Remains..." absolutely blew me away and the next thing you know I'm totally into Zeppelin with the big Jimmy Page poster on my wall...after the band had basically ceased to exist folling John Bonham's death.

Queen is timeless. However you got into them, you got there, and that's a good thing.

Precisely. I'm trying to educate my kids, but at 11 and 8 I might be just a bit early. I'll keep trying, though.
