Let me be perfectly frank with you: I haven't watched the
Heroes TV series beyond the first season (a friend was supposed to hook me up with seasons 2 & 3, but I might not see that happening until 2010). So it's safe to say that I'm not going to win any prizes for the biggest fan in the world. That all being said, however, it's rather amusing that I continually find myself eyeballing some of the stars from the show, particularly the lead actor Milo Ventimiglia (trust me, I'm definitely going to look for Hayden Panettiere next, maybe at her next save-the-whales press conference or something).
This time, the chance meeting took place at an autograph event hyping the
Rest comic series that
Ventimiglia created for Devil's Due publishing. It was on a whim that I paid a visit to the world-famous Golden Apple store in Hollywood this past Saturday where the signing was taking place. What was more exciting for me, though, was that Milo was being joined by esteemed comic artist
Tim Sale (the illustrator behind all those
creepy paintings and comic art from the
Heroes TV series) who provided me with two quick sketches.
