Finally got around to transcribing a pair of stories written a while back.
Both are inspired by the song "Paloma" There's a sample on Last.FM which happens to have the relevant lyric. Convenient.
The first is the story of Seamus O'Connor, a young Kheldic warrior/skald and why he's walking the world: The Courage of a Lamb
The second is the story of why the O'Connor clan was formed, and probably needs some more work and polish before it's really finished: The Fierceness of a Storm.
In case it's not clear, the second story is set in the first story's past, at least a couple generations, but some things are not clearly defined yet, such as how long the Kheldic people have been around, and how many generations of O'Connors there were before Seamus.
