Today I flew. Metaphorically. While writing.
Most of this week I've gone to the store before work and ended up walking out with lunch as well as breakfast. Today I didn't.
I went to the Stardust Diner (again). I woke up this morning with a headache that wasn't going away. Lunch helped though. A chicken and dumpling soup and a chicken pot pie.
That's not really what this entry is about though, as delicious as it may have been. No, what this is about is my pen flying across the page. Sometimes I'm glad when the food comes to interrupt my writing, either because I've hit a little block, or because I'm really hungry. Not today. Today the food occurred as an interruption. A tasty, tasty interruption.
The story in question is Brothers in Bits, the story of Test Data and its brother/clone/duplicate. I haven't even gotten to the realy meat of the story yet, just the exposition so far. I'm really looking forward to it, and I have a feeling I'll sneak in a Datalore reference or three.
I've decided the daily audio blog podcast will start Feb 1. I'm also keeping notes on subjects to blog about if nothing noteworthy happens in a given day. One is "Speaking to the characters while driving" which would just word so much better in an audio format. It's kind of annoying to know I have a great, fun entry to write, but I can't yet. :P As a reminder, the audio blog will be posted here as well, with the complete text as the LJ entry, and a link to the mp3 file, so you can get the same content either way. Sometimes the text may be posted much earlier than the audio portion, such as when I have some free time during work to blog.
