What have I been doing since Tuesday? The short answer is: working.
On Tuesday, a sort-of-freelance client came to me and said he needs the installer for his program and the licensing website "by December"
My response was "Define 'December.' Dec 1? Dec15? Dec31?"
Turns out he'd like the installer by Dec 3 when he goes to San Diego, and he needs the website by Dec 6 when his ad goes out and he'll start selling ...
So I've been staying at work to work on that project until 9 or 10.
The installer's done, finished yesterday (Saturday) but the website isn't working yet ...
Also got my oil changed yesterday morning. Last night, I got
alarin612 set up on Skype and we talked for about six hours, two of which were recorded for what was supposed to be one show for a new Alternia Comics podcast, but which turned in to two shows. The short version of that story is the Character Spotlight segment, added at the last minute, took a lot more time than I thought it would, so it gets its own show. Now I just need to edit it down.
Now I've got a wicked headache and am thinking about going out for breakfast (pancakes/french toast and coffee sounds really good) and more writing. The "Tyrant Takeover" storyline has been retitled "Day of the Tyrant" and that's what I'm focused on primarily. This could be a good novel, which is a little ironic since the Sundog and Selene story arc started as my NaNoWriMo novel for 2006 ...
As tempting as it is, I haven't wasted a lot of time on
Pac-Txt, a remake of PacMan as a text adventure ... linked to me by
