Hooray for templates!
Apparently I skipped over updating five or six pages on the site ...
Fortunately, it was simple and straight forward to make them fit with the new layout. A bit of cut & paste, and the old HTML pages were crafted into new asp pages that had the new Header/Nav and Footer.
Unless I'm mistaken, the new layout is also lighter weight than the old layout, so hopefully it'll load quicker. I'm rather proud of it, so I'll link it when it goes live.
Another added bonus, today was one of the Wednesdays that one of the executives cooks lunch for everyone (we're only ~20 people). Yay free lunch! ;) I decided to have tea with lunch, and I'm keeping my /dev/mug at the office. A few people got the joke, which is always nice. "It would be cooler if it had a USB port" said Thor. "I have a watch with a USB port ... " I replied.
Finally got Gentoo to not kernel panic on boot ... I'm not sure what I was missing when compiling the kernel, but using genkernel (which compiles a generic kernel with support of loads of hardware) fixed it.
Last night I shuffled the music on the MP3 player a bit ... took out most of the Deathcab for Cutie and put in some Beck, Marcy Playground, Shins, Killers, etc.
Need to do laundry tonight, then pack for the trip. I may have a slight problem Sunday night ... my flight gets in at 23:15, and the last MAX leaves the airport at 23:37 ... hopefully it doesn't take more than 20min to get my bag ... wonder if I can get away with just a carry on ... the suit jacket and pants are wrinkle free ... but not so much on the shirt ...
