More packing
Most of the kitchen is now in two boxes (both fairly heavy) including all but one pot, all small apliances, except the microwave, but the tray that spins inside the microwave is packed. I don't plan on eating anything other than cereal and PB&J sandwiches for a while ...
I also packed up most of my book, traditional print books and comic books. These are in two "File" boxes, and the comic books box is heavier than the other box, though both are managable. Probably wouldn't be if I had put everything in one of the UHaul Medium boxes ... ;)
Still left to pack:
Anyone in the Portland area willing to help me move everything Tuesday/Wednesday, possibly into an apartment, but most likely into storage?
Plan for Saturday:
Morning - Call a couple apartments / rentals advertised on Craigslist, possibly fill out applications to rent.
If one more more say they can let me know yea/nay by Tues, I'll hold off on getting a storage unit. If I won't hear anything by Tues, I'll look in to renting a storage unit and pickup truck. (there are a few things that will not fit in my car, no matter how I try to jigger it (notably the computer desk, love seat and reclining chair. I might be able to fit the TV in on its own, but I'm not certain. Parts of the bed frame may also be problematic))
Between noon or so and 6, I'll be doing homework.
7 - whenever (1AM? later?) is gaming. If it weren't the last session before marithra goes back to Corvalis, I would ask the players to cancel this week's session... at least, that's what I'm telling myself.
Laundry will probably be done while doing homework ... good reason for short breaks.
