Wasted Day?
I feel like I've wasted today. Let's take a look at how the day has gone so far:
Slep until noon.
Got up, read Live Journal, made a big mistake that put me in a bad/funky mental state for the rest of the day (and possibly tomorrow). Decided to try to take my mind off the mistake by seeing a movie.
1:45: Watched Crank, Jason Statham's new movie. High art it is not. Fortunately, it is about what I was expecting: an action movie with plenty of violence and a simple plot. I was surprised by a few things, but the movie pretty much delivers on the trailer line "If you stop, you die!" and it fulfilled its function of taking my mind off the morning ... for an hour and a half or so.
Spent another while trying to get my mind off things by searching for apartments. Have I mentioned how much I dislike apartment hunting?
I'm starting to wish I hadn't gotten the job at Reality. It is a fun job, and I enjoy it, but if I didn't have it, I could move to CO and have my friends around.
I still have to do the homework for my classes by 11pm local time tomorrow.
Still need to find a place to live.
With all the Shaun of the Dead refrences recenly, it feels like I should scrawl a short list of things to do on a white board and slump into a chair for several hours. Possibly I'd awaken in a zombie movie ...
For now though, I need to get something to eat.
