Had fun last night ... around 2230 or so Haoma's sister said she was going to watch Lain. Shortly there after (~2300) I was on my way to Greeley to partake of the Lain-ey goodness.
As this was my first trip up to Greeley I got mildly lost. While trying to find the intersection, I ended up just kinda wandering around and finding it by chance. I called Fuul (back at Jaehop) to find out which dorm she was in (for some reason I had forgotten to write that critical bit of information down) He started giving me directions using North, South, etc. I told him my Intuit Direction checks were failing because I couldn't see the stars (cloudy night). Eventually he got my bearings and I was once again on the correct path. Turns out I was lost not half a block from my destination ... ;)
~0020 or so, we start Lain. Watch the first four episodes (only had access to the first DVD, no DivX AVIs :( ) and we were left wanting to watch more, if only so it would make sense .. ;)
~0230 We just kinda sat around talking for a while, until my incessant yawning became to much and I headed home. (~0315)
I got mildly lost again on my way back to where I had parked. ("I just got turned around, that's all." -- Pvt. Donuts, Red Team. RedVSBlue.com)
Finally on the way home, I start nodding off just past Johnson's Corner. I should have stopped in for a cup of coffee or something, but I didn't. It was about this time (~0345) I remembered I had caffeine in the car with me. Hooray for chocolate Penguins!
~0430 I finally get home and almost literally crash on my bed. Shove the stuff off the bed and just roll over going to sleep (after checking email and posting in starbase668 ;) )
so now (~1200) I'm in class. The RRCC NetworkAdmins finally got their shit together and we have internet again, so we were able to take our tests in the Cisco class that'd we'd missed last week.
Now I'm tired ... and glad I still have penguins.
