Random Epiphany #63 -OR- I'm still avoiding work.
As I was driving in to work today, I had a pretty random thought.
For some reason I've been thinking about the old cartoons I used to watch, and actually went on at length in the Shaw IRC about Captain Planet. The others were surprised I could remember character names ...
Anyway, I was thinking on my way in this morning, that GI Joe is not General Infantry. Sure, the orignal GI Joe dolls were, but not the guys from the cartoons / comic book (I think there was a comic book ...) Each Joe was highly specialzed in SOMETHING. That just struck me as a bit odd ...
And now, I bet someone will respond to this with what the G.I. J.O.E. acronym is and prove me completly wrong, or at least unfounded. ;)
