On not shooting myself in the foot.
I do so enjoy setting up my own disappointments. Well I mean first of all I tend to be crazily optimistic, and so I always think "yeah it could work this time, sure it failed all the other times but for no reason at all this time is different!". So I have to say that I'm pretty please that despite the fact that I want very badly to do something that I know will result in disappointment I'm not doing it. Sure it's way easier to just give in, and who knows, maybe this time it will be different, right? Yeah I'm not going to play that game. Well at least not tonight. So here's to growing as person or some such.
