Well, at least my schedule being so incredibly screwed up by finals means I'm here to liveblog for a change.

Finn's reaction to Kurt's kilt made me WAY too happy. I hope we get to see Burt's reaction, too. Kurt's face late in the promo though... oh, man. I'm betting JBI snapping pictures of Kurt and Sam was not accidental and will be used next week.

Sam's plot was awesome. I want that plot to take a center stage more next season. Can it?

Pretty much in agreement with everything :)

Good luck with finals!!!

I kind of want a gif just of Kurt spinning in his kilt. He looks so thrilled, and Finn is being awesome, and he's got a date, and then smack, horribleness will ensue. I take way too much delight in Kurt torture.

Yeah, I'd be curious to see how RIB would make a whole plot out of Sam's story. I'd love to see more of all the kids' families, even though I know the logistics of TV make it difficult casting/fitting in lots of new characters.

I don't normally comment on commercials, but was that a PSA for "It Gets Better" or an ad for Google Chrome? Yes. (used to have a professor who answered every this-or-that question with yes, and it is aptly fitting here.)

they're usually lazy plotting when you don't have anything better to do, and not very compelling drama when "Oh woe is me, I have TWO gorgeous people in love with me!" you mean like a certain viper pilot? *cough*

Oh that was a kilt? I thought it was just a really long topcoat. The Braveheart comment makes sense now.
We had a guy at my undergrad (senior when I was a freshman), who used to wear long black skirts on a regular basis. It was kind of awesome.

::twiddles her fingers innocently:: Hmm...maaybe...

Yep, most definitely a kilt. Kurt has been known to wear skirts on occasion before, and he does usually look pretty good in them.

Honestly I think if they pair it with a nice shirt, any guy could look good in a skirt. Especially with combat boots.

Brit's kind of adorable, isn't she? The cat, the inability to do math, the ridiculousness of her phrasing...

You know, I do believe this IS one of the few times I've ever really been invested in a love triangle, because prior to this, Brit and Artie worked really well together. I think it works because it's not typical Girl Chased By Two Hot Guys, it's a girl in love with two people who in some way the world doesn't approve of. There's something about the way she just doesn't care that Artie's in a wheelchair or that Santana's a girl, just that she loves them, that makes this more than your typical triangle.

Am I the only one who immediately recognized that as Kurt's jacket? It's the one he wears in that really popular promo picture. Though poor Sam. Kurt's stuff is a little too small, and Finn's is going to be huge.

I am looking forward to the return of Jesse. I just... I need them to make him make sense so badly.

You know, I'd never mentally phrased it that way before, but that is a good point. That also helps in it not being a foregone conclusion who she eventually chooses.

Am I the only one who immediately recognized that as Kurt's jacket?

No, I did, too. It took me a second for it to click, because I couldn't see how it could fit that well if it was Kurt's, but I did catch it.

Jesse! Have you heard "Rolling in the Deep" yet? He kills it. Actually, all the songs are either 1) hot damn that's good, or 2) hot damn that's so delightfully cracky that evaluating its musicality is kinda irrelevant.
