Well, at least my schedule being so incredibly screwed up by finals means I'm here to liveblog for a change.
FODNUE FOR TWO! I want to fic this so badly.
Ha, go Tina!!
I loooove Lord Tubbington, and the Adkins diet rationale.
What the hell?! Sue's costume is ridiculous. I think she just admitted she went nuts.
I think there's some serious meta.
"Ohio loves you, Anne Coulter!" Bwahahaha! Also, she admitted she was nuts twice.
April! Good to see you! Cross-Rhodes. I'd buy a ticket to that.
Blind items. Yup, very meta. And Kurt, if you squint and call him blond, also fits that description.
Whoops, the "other team" was a Brittany-ism. Whoops.
April was angling for a kiss, and Will totally missed it.
Sam and Lauren don't know the craziness of April, do they?
I like but don't love Fleetwood Mac, so for me, these songs are going to hinge on the performance even more than usual, I think. But I loves me some good April/Will duetting, and this is definitely a good one. I like all the reaction shots laying the groundwork for the rumors, too.
I don't normally comment on commercials, but was that a PSA for "It Gets Better" or an ad for Google Chrome? And I'm so deeply embarrassed to say it, but I kinda really want to see The Hangover II.
WHOOPS. I know Artie gets demonized a lot, but I actually find the Brittany/Artie/Santana triangle really compelling, because all three of them do lousy things, and most of the time it's either not mean-spirited or, if it's Santana, you still get why. (And that's really saying something, because I dislike love triangles on principle, because they're usually lazy plotting when you don't have anything better to do, and not very compelling drama when "Oh woe is me, I have TWO gorgeous people in love with me!"
I do love this cover. I'm a sucker for acoustic guitar, so the army of acoustic guitars is really getting me, plus Artie's vocals are really good.
Oh, Rachel. :) And thank you, Rachel, for pointing out how weird Finn's decision to get back with someone who cheated on him when he's so worried about cheating is.
I love how the first conclusion they jump to is it must be sex. Because there can't be any other reason for him to meet Sam, can there? Though Jacob hiding in the bushes with a camera...uh-oh.
Yup, incredibly meta. Kinda like Pizes, though.
Poor Brad, treated like furniture.
This is one of the handful of Fleetwood Mac songs that I love for the song itself (love the Eva Cassidy version), and Santana does it total justice. Awww, sweet.
I was going to say, Sam is dressing way too fashionably. I like that Kurt pretty thoroughly put the smack-down on the rumor mill.
If Sue weren't descending into madness, I would think, hey, this is kind of an interesting turn for her to take. But this has Terri written all over it.
Isn't it fun that all this relationship drama comes right before prom? Kind of like real high school: people breaking up right and left, but still having to go to prom with their exes because it's too late to find another date.
Nice try with the lesson plan, Will, but I do believe it's backfiring.
Okay...Quinn? All that sympathy I had last week? Buh-bye.
Haaa. This is the kind of original songs I love. I think I'm missing the in-joke about the particular guy she slept with, though.
Awww. Haaa. I...Brittany.
Wouldn't the club still get to go to Nationals even if Will left? But still, Will's conflict is better than most of the plots he's had lately.
I like how Mike Chang has remained completely separate and happily removed from all this drama.
"Go Your Own Way" is nice, but not knocking my socks off.
Aww, poor Sam. And you guys should all feel like total turds. I bet we'll never get an explanation why Sam chose to confide in Kurt and Quinn out of everyone, will we? ETA: Oh me of little faith. They did!
Awww, Sam's siblings are adorable! Finn's gesture is nice, but his clothes aren't going to fit Sam. I'm loving the Sam back-story a lot though. Awww, SAM!
They're going to kill me with cute, aren't they? Yep, they did. Wait, that was the end? Huh. That felt kind of unresolved.
Well, not the best, but I was happy for the Sam back-story, Santana's story was good, and I liked a lot of the songs. And also, Lord Tubbington. :)
Next week: Whoa, Quinn, that's more than a little much for a reaction, no matter what shenanigans Rachel is up to. Groff!! And also, I loved Finn's reaction to Kurt's kilt!
