Yeah, this was the first time I think I've ever thought, "Gee, I kinda wish there was more Paul in this episode." I mean, I love Tahmoh and think he's done a great job, but Paul is finally not creepy. I could handle seeing more of that!
Yeah, Boyd. I'm still in shock. The one thing that's got me wondering about "Epitaph One," though, is that weren't there lots of former Actives hanging out in the Dollhouse in the memories, yet Adelle released them all? I suppose she could've collected lost Dolls after they lose the war and go back to the house to hunker down, but...yeah. I don't know how it's all going to fit, but if this is any indication, it's going to be pretty awesome.
I didn't think Saunders had been compromised when she shot Bennett--I thought maybe she'd cracked and hated Topher enough to kill the only person who ever made him have feelings That was my very first thought as well. I stared in absolute shock for pretty much the whole commercial break.
We got the Dom cameo because Epitaph One established that he doesn't get out of the Attic quite yet, clearly. ;) And also to make Dewitt/Dom shippers pee their pants with joy.
I loved Mellie to death as well. I kind of hope she sticks around, even though I rationally know that's so wrong of me. I kind of want her to get together with Paul now, but Epitaph One has me fearing to even hope she survives. D:

Ah-ha! I'd forgotten that. Poor guy. They drag him out of storage so he can mention "Clyde's dead" so we remember who Clyde is so the whole Clyde 2.0 thing fits, then gets thrown back in the attic. (Well, and the Dewitt/Dom shippy thing too, I suppose ;) ).

Same here. I wonder if maybe she will stick around, since Madeleine must be stored on a wedge in the DC dollhouse, right? Anyway, it's good to have her back.
I thought that Saunders may have done it on her own, but the previews for next week . . . I think she and Boyd are working together maybe? But then why did she think he was running away if she knew? I don't know!
And he kept saying in the preview how he chose Caroline and Topher. So he had to have chosen Claire too, right? And why would she kill Bennett? Didn't she want Topher to care for someone? I'm so confused! And how is it now Topher's fault for creating her if Boyd is the big boss of everything? But she doesn't know that and well, when is she going to have time for surgery and become Whiskey again?!
My head hurts. But it's in a good way. I think. ;-)
This is Joss, after all. Holy crap, I forgot!!! Tara. My other cute femslashy couple. I loved them. :-(
I oddly like Paul better now that he's had the Echo/Caroline obsession lobotomized. Is that bad of me?Nope. Me too. His Echo/Caroline obsession was creepy. I like Paul now but I'm much less interested in him. And kudos to Melie for picking up right where she left off. "Oh,
( ... )
I really wonder if Claire is different because maybe she *wasn't* chosen by Boyd--Topher kind of chose her for specialness when he made her into Dr. Saunders. (Though we have no idea how she originally became a doll, which is a backstory I'd *really* like to see). I think I'm still sticking to that because I can't come up with a reason why *Boyd* would want to kill Bennett. And the running away thing still confuses me. Maybe Boyd really was running, and he changed plans half-way through? Or maybe he did go somewhere to do...something, and he came back? I don't know, either!
Yeah, I kind of wonder what Paul's point is now, though I like him so much more. If there was another season left, I'd say I expected interesting things from it, but I don't know what there's time to do much in two episodes.
It could all go so many ways! Maybe Boyd didn't choose Claire. And maybe Claire is making her own choices now. That's cool but then how does she become Whiskey again? I don't want to lose this Claire!
On the surface Boyd is running to draw their enemies' fire. Maybe he still has to do that. And he is really shot, so he has to go get some help. After that, I really don't know.
Boyd clearly wants Echo to be imprinted with Caroline. I don't think he wanted Bennett dead. But maybe Claire did. But that is really weird because why does she care if Caroline is back or not? I can understand her being mad at Topher for making her or Alpha for cutting her, but what did Caroline ever do to her? Or maybe she doesn't want the Dollhouse taken down. She does stay there as Whiskey and I remember her scheme in Belonging. Yeah, maybe Claire has a whole other agenda all her own.
I don't think Paul has a point now except to die with Mellie. But! He was in Epitaph One and she wasn't. Bye, Mellie.

Boyd. I WANT TO KNOW NOW, DAMN IT! And I really, REALLY need to rewatch Epitaph One, because I'm guessing we're very much headed that way.
Wow.
