That was an amazing episode of endless WTF?!
I didn't think Saunders had been compromised when she shot Bennett--I thought maybe she'd cracked and hated Topher enough to kill the only person who ever made him have feelings.
But back to Boyd. That's kind of turns the whole series on its head, doesn't it? I wonder how much of Dr. Saunders' feelings are hers? Did he program her? I can kind of see why she'd want to go back to being Whiskey after all that.
And Boyd's known that Caroline, not just Echo, is special all along?
And why did we get the little Dominic cameo? It seems like they wouldn't let him out of storage just to stumble in, give info, then put him back forever. He's got to come back again.
How much did I love Bennett/Topher? "Ouch!" "I'm sorry!" "Ouch!" "I'm sorry!" I should've known they'd kill her brutally and abruptly. This is Joss, after all.
And Mellie's back! I like Mellie even more than Madeleine, though I feel bad that Madeleine is essentially being "held" against her will, since they're keeping her around and letting everybody else go. (Sierra and Victor have to come back. I wonder if Ivy will or not.) I'm really happy that Paul admitted he totally frakked up when it came to Madeleine, and I oddly like Paul better now that he's had the Echo/Caroline obsession lobotomized. Is that bad of me?
