I was guessing the same thing as you, actually. Kurt goes to Kent and Rachel goes to NY- at least, that's a way to keep them around longer. (Or Kurt. I can make reasons why Kurt should stay in Lima longer. Rachel is harder.)
I hope Sue is running for state, especially given some of the spoilers about that plotline, but it is tough to tell.
Rachel really does have bright lights, big city written all over her. I just can't see her being happy without at least trying to break into the big time. Kurt--well, I know we're in agreement that Kurt could have a very happy life outside of showbiz.
Yeah, nothing good can come of Puck and Lauren breaking up. Lauren leaving Glee to keep up her rep but still dating him would've been okay with me, but this is not a good sign for the direction of Puck's character.
I'm really perplexed as to why they've gotten rid of Sam and Lauren. I didn't follow any of the casting drama or The Glee Project, so I'm... thrown by this. I don't get it. But whatever, it's Glee.
You know, the thing about the Blaine transfer is that as soon as Blaine did it, Kurt went into "Oh god this isn't about me is it because that is a terrible reason to do something even if I have been bugging you about it" mode. Kurt could have come out looking seriously selfish, but instead it came across as sweet. Blaine reasons? Glee-ish. But I'm glad Kurt wasn't actually going to base their relationship on Blaine's willingness to do what he says.
I've known people who've pulled a Quinn. It's... bizarre. I'm not sure what I think of the character development, but she's rocking the look.
Honestly, You Can't Stop the Beat was kind of a disappointment for me, because it's one of my favorite songs ever and... something was missing from the Glee version. I don't know if it was a complexity of harmonies or what, but I just wasn't feeling it.

13) Bigwig at FOX does rare interview to do Murphy-related damage control. Yeah, that's how bad it got.
14) Comiccon happens, and other producers back-track on Murphy's statements. "Just because they're seniors doesn't mean they won't be on the show next year..."
15) Fandom tears at hair and dubs the writing staff lying liars who lie.
16) Murphy finally admits, yes, they had actually been planning a spinoff, but now that everybody is making such a big stink about what he said, he's taking his toys and going home. No spinoff for you, bad fans and media! Or at least not until we've cooled off and rethink it in the spring!
17) Fandom interprets this as: 1) Murphy doesn't want to admit he was an ass; 2) his other pilot got picked up by FX; 3) his strong-arming to get FOX to green-light Glee Season 4, Glee Project 2, and a spinoff and have it filmed in NYC instead of LA by stirring up all this shit didn't impress FOX execs, so he's got to behave himself before they'll give him more toys to play with

So... This still doesn't explain why they seem to have ditched Lauren. :( And also, whether there will be a spinoff. (I kind of hope not. I want Lea to return to Broadway rull bad.)

I am now extremely glad I missed this.
