From Kyoto we took the train to Hiroshima. It’s probably one of the most famous places in Japan, for all the wrong reasons. Because it so synonymous with horror, death and destruction, its actually a surprise to get off the train and find a bright and airy town. From Shirawakawa-go we took the bus to Kanazawa, a city on the west coast, famous for its gold work and seafood, in fact I had a seafood sashimi bowl covered in gold leaf flakes that was  amazingly good.  While in Japan I noticed that while the whole country is pretty dual language, many signs are sometimes Japanese only, or the Japanese is much easier to read from a distance. Many of these need to use kanji, which can be a bit of headache for people with little to no Japanese.

I am back in MCR.
We have survived our epic long flight and now we are home. It sucks. My washing machine decided to throw water all ovfer the floor just after arrive home too. GHEY.
