I CAN HAS FLAT NOW
I have found a new flat for living in. Which is good. Its over by Victoria train Station, the MEN Arena and the old Boddingtons brewery.
Its another old convertred mill, so the common areas have the naked red brick and steelwork, a bit like Chorlton Mill (for those of you who remember my flat from before the St Edmunds Church) and they have these little zen garden on each level of the stairwell. and a glass lift. It also has the orginal uber wide floor boards in the flats which is very cool. Its not amzingly massive, so *sob* the red sofa of doom might not fit, but I wont get that till Mike moves out of the church in October anyways.
I should be able to walk to work in 10 mins. and its not that much more than living here. Although see the Geek squad at weekend will mean buses.
I don't know when I can move in yet: the current tenants have a contract till April 7th, but they have not paid their rent, so they might get booted out sooner and then I can move in. I shall have to do photos when I have stuff sorted out. And housewarming party. Obviously.
Sort out life list is a bit shorter now:
* Organise going to Japan
* Take some photos of Sasuke Cosplay
* Move house
* Write an article for the Govenment.
* Stop fucking up friendship and/or find new friends
* Find £3K
* Get involved in 3 projects of dooom at work.
* Get CEng chartered with the IET
* Get laid
