CONTROLLING PEOPLE: HOW TO RECOGNIZE, UNDERSTAND, AND DEAL WITH PEOPLE WHO TRY TO CONTROL YOU
by Patrica Evans
Quite an interesting book I've been reading that delves into the psychology of controlling actions of people.
What I find most interesting is it follows my theory of "what you blame ME to be YOU already are".
It's interesting to see how when others define us they are really defining themselves.
Here's a quote from the book
"We know that they are pretending because in actual fact, no one can tell you what you want, believe, should do, or why you have done what you have done. No one can know your inner reality, your intentions, your motives, what you think, believe, feel, like, dislike, what you know, how you do what you do, or who you are. If someone does pretend to know your inner reality: 'You're trying to start a fight', they have it backwards. People only know themselves. It doesn't work the other way around."

What I find ironic is it tries to offer some introspective into the inner world of a controlling person.
"Some introspective" being the key words as we can never truly "know" anyone other than ourselves.
Check it out at your local library or book store =D!
