...about tonights game Germany vs. Russia

They had to play it that close *fume* but at least it still ended well for us!

Honestly: Why? Why did they slack off? The first half was oh so beautiful and in the second, they were, well not just a shadow of that, but had lost a lot of that sense of direction.
Still, 2:1 is alright, especially since Podolski scored the first goal (to be jumped right afterwards by Schweinsteiger - yesss :3 and a beautiful goal it was!) and the second was finalized by Ballack which made me really happy. He's not my favourite, but he's, well, El Capitano and I like him as such (Papa-Bear *snicker*), and after Klose, he seems to be the new topic to be speculated about (is he good enough, is he still respected as captain, etc. Important Questions, yeah, but I didn't really see the need to draw them up this agressively *gives cookies to Micha and Thorsten*).

All in all, a good game to have watched. Especially the first half. Even if the referees seemed to be having a bad day and missed a lot of stuff (and the Russian No. 17 annoyed me, fouled quite a bit).

Things to do:
-find a picture of Löw sitting perfectly balanced on that-, what was it? The thing were the ads are shown on? That looked cool.
- and then see if my slasher-eye caught that right and Klose gave Schweini a peck on the cheek after the second goal, while standing together with Ballack *snicker*

Edit: Okay, I had to have been really tired yesterday, not to mention it before in this post: Rene Adler as goalkeeper was awesome! Even my Mom payed him attention after enough too close encounters *chuckle* He was reeeeally good, far better than I had expected. Poor Enke, but his substitute was more than worthy. And I have to admit, I was kind of surprised to learn that it had been Lahm to have been the one, accidentally injuring Enkes hand in a training session XD *pats Philipp* I can only imagine how he felt after thet ^^;
