Monday morning
Yes, the biweekly Maids/Trash/Recycling Day. T had already completed much of the chores yesterday, but I still rose before 7am to help finish them. He seemed in good cheer for a Monday morning. He went to a friend's Christmas party yesterday afternoon while I went to Baltimore to wish Steve a happy birthday. With Steve and Drew I played Sevens, a card game I'd never played before, and one game of Magic. Steve won both games!
I slept well last night after driving home in the rain. I'm teleworking today, probably commuting Wednesday and Friday. I'll probably run after the Maids finish, but I don't know when they'll show up, it's always anytime from 8am until whenever. Perhaps I'll run on my lunch break even if they haven't shown up yet.
We've been given a telework waiver for the two weeks of Christmas and New Year's. But I haven't decided how much leave I'll be taking, if I take only one extra day off per week (such as the two Eves, which I'll likely take off) the telework waiver isn't necessary anyway. I'll coordinate some of the leave with T so we can prepare for our Christmas Eve party together.
I have no meetings today -- it's going to be such a light workload for the next few weeks :-)
