Platinum Bug!
I finally made it to Platinum rank on Magic the Gathering: Arena :-)
It took all month, and it will reset to Silver for August. Meanwhile, today they rotated out of Alchemy mode a bunch of cards that I'd been using for my favorite decks, so I'm having to switch the decks to Standard mode, and then fill in for the cards that aren't legal for Standard either.

Had a good massage after catching up with work stuff. I injured my neck back on Sunday afternoon, so I'm dealing with that. It has been a long time since my neck has bothered me. I hope it heals quickly. Probably no weight lifting until it feels better, but I should be able to run, walk, and stretch. I hope to run 4 miles tomorrow, and maybe 5 miles on Friday.

Tomorrow after work I'm heading to a concert at the 9:30 Club with a bunch of my friends. T had purchased four tickets to see Romy, but now he cannot go (he's up in CT for another two weeks), so he transferred all four tickets to me -- I invited B, Ben, and Lawyer David to join me. B wanted to turn it into a dinner-first thing with the four of us plus K & Cody (who also have tickets and are visiting DC tomorrow), but I told him that would be impossible. Even if my neck were not bothering me -- but my neck hurts the most while I'm eating, so no way would I want to spend an hour at a restaurant inflaming my neck right before going to a concert venue. But, K & Cody are flying into DCA at 5:31pm, I have to telework in the suburbs until 6pm, and Ben and David are presumably working also. I think the best we locals can do is meet somewhere close to the venue and have drinks (and maybe bar food) while waiting for the other locals, then we'll see K & Cody inside whenever they show up.

I've been getting into digital Gloomhaven again, but this time is a slog because I'm running a Scoundrel and a Voidwarden. I'm learning that these two don't make a good team. I don't even like the Voidwarden. I'll probably add another character ...

Will I bother to finish The Boyfriend? Only two more episodes to go ... ...
I think I find it mostly tedious. But it's interesting seeing gay dating from a Japanese perspective.
