Jury Duty Monday
Only a few minutes to write in here --
Maids were canceled, whew, I took out trash by 7am, I had breakfast, I've packed for my day at the courthouse, I ironed my clothes, now all I have left is to brush teeth and shower.
There's frost on my car, but it is fixed so I don't have to worry about that anymore LOL.
T is still not feeling well, but it is normal for people to need a while to recover from COVID. Hopefully I won't catch it from him but at this point I can only wait and see. Meanwhile, I'll wear a mask all day at the courthouse and hope I don't get sick from the crowd of random people, and that I didn't catch anything from my spanking party peeps on Saturday.
Either I'll spend the day sitting around and get sent home, or I'll serve on a trial of unknown duration, this is not under my control.
I imagine if tomorrow T still feels sickly that he'll be here with me for the holiday, which is fine, but I'll still need to get a haircut downtown over the weekend and might stay at the condo for a day/night when I do. And I still need to plan my wardrobe for my business trip, I absolutely need to figure that out by the weekend so I can get work from the neighborhood tailor if necessary.
OK, Bug, let's go. I'm not bringing my laptop or a phone charger because I plan to read a book or two today. I'm bringing two actual books!!!
